“Spring is sooner recognized by plants than by men.”
|
In driving around town, I was delighted to discover spring was making itself known—delicate white blooms on beautifully rounded trees. Although it seems early, in reality, everything is on schedule, including even our Women’s Committee. In January, we met for two hours to “spring clean” issues pertinent to the viability of our organization. We came up with some great ideas and we will share them with you as the year progresses. We don’t want you to forget to renew your membership this spring when we send out your reminder. Look for that in your inbox. In the meantime, scroll this email to view a few upcoming events where we'd love to see you.
Spring is here, the trees know it, and now you know it. We hope to see you at one or all of these events!

If you haven’t taken the opportunity to volunteer for one of the days to visit a school with a van filled with an orchestra of musical instruments, you must join the band (pun intended). The excitement that is palpable with these school kids is contagious and you will find yourself caught up in their enthusiasm. No musical knowledge required.

In the above-mentioned two-hour meeting, one thing we discussed at length was our email communications. We send In-Touch newsletters every other month, and send "Upcoming Events" emails on between. If you feel like you haven't received some of these, here are a few tips to make sure you're always seeing the emails that we send out:
- Add "info@ojaifestival.org" (the email that we send from) to your contacts.
- Mark emails from us as "important." On most email services, this can be accomplished by right clicking on a message in your inbox.
- If you are using Gmail, organize your inbox using labels, filters, and other tools. Click here for details from Google on how to accomplish this!
Please let us know if you have any other questions in regards to seeing more of our emails.
As always, feel free to forward this email to a friend who may be interested in joining the OFWC or attending our events. We are always open to making new friends!
