Celebrating our Communities

Each year in May we celebrate Nursing Home Week, a national observance that honors the essential role nursing homes play in providing safe and effective care to millions of individuals. And it's one of the most fun weeks of the year as we celebrate all that makes our A.G. Rhodes communities so special! From our elders who inspire us with their life experiences; to our exceptional Care Partners who go above and beyond every single day; to our families who provide such loving care and support - we dedicate this week to you.
Here are some of our favorite pictures from the week:

Fulfilling a Childhood Dream

Employee Spotlight: Dena Baker
Assistant Director of Nursing, A.G. Rhodes Atlanta
For as long as she can remember, Dena Baker wanted to become a nurse. Of the nurses she encountered as a child, she recalls being drawn to their all-white uniforms and she held the profession in high regard.

“As a little girl, I saw it as a prestigious position,” she said. “They were professional and trusting, and I grew to know that I had those traits.”
