Happy Summer!

Heading into summer, c21 has been abuzz with activity! We've welcomed fresh faces to the team, hosted exciting events, and dedicated time to showcasing our skills. While we’re somehow half way through the year already, we know our hard work and enthusiasm for all things digital marketing and PR will help us achieve even greater success for the remainder of the year!

Meghan Joins as a Senior AM

Please welcome Meghan as c21's newest senior account manager! Meghan has a passion for all things marketing and finding ways to create more compelling content through words.

She has extensive experience from multiple different agencies and was most recently the marketing director for a nationwide residential architectural company where she helped grow the business from an industry player to an industry leader. Meghan earned her degree in Marketing with a minor in English from Kennesaw State University.

In her free time, Meghan hosts a podcast called The Average Vegans and she also loves listening to podcasts — true crime being her favorite. She even has a true crime book club! Beyond writing and podcasting, Meghan channels her creativity into painting, gardening and designing unique resin products for her small business.

She is a great addition to the team and you can learn more about her here

New Interns!

c21 is proud to have two summer interns join the team. Welcome, Katie and Maggie! c21's internship program provides graduates and rising seniors with real-world, hands-on digital marketing and PR experience like no other agency. With a range of new projects, there's no slowing down for summer! In fact, Maggie's second day included helping with a 150-person event. They both have become invaluable already!
Katie is passionate about writing and is looking forward to learning more about the public relations and marketing industry this summer! She is currently pursuing a degree in public relations at the University of Georgia and is expected to graduate in May of 2024.

Katie loves music, binging TV shows and playing board games and card games with friends and family. Her current TV binge is Glee, which is the perfect mix of music and TV. Katie loves almost any board game or card game and is always up for some friendly competition!

Katie is excited to be part of the c21 team this summer and is ready to learn more about the industry and discover other passions along the way.

As an intern at c21, Maggie is thrilled to learn about clients across various industries and support the team on projects and events. She recently graduated from the University of Georgia with two bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Political Science, as well as a Public Affairs Communications Professional Certificate. She will continue her education at UGA this fall in pursuit of a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.

Throughout her undergraduate experience, Maggie was involved in organizations within both of her colleges. She was an active member of the Grady College of Journalism’s PRSSA Drewry Chapter and represented the School of Public & International Affairs’ student body as an ambassador to external and internal audiences of prospective students, alumni, donors and more. In June 2022, she participated in the Franklin College of Arts & Science’s inaugural study abroad in London, UK to learn about women’s public discourse. Most recently, Maggie was a Women’s Basketball Manager for the 2022-23 season, supporting the student-athletes and coaching staff at home and on the road, including at the SEC & NCAA tournaments.

When Maggie is not at the office, she can be found walking her family dogs Snoopy and Rosie or cuddling their very spoiled cats Frank and Freddie. She loves capturing pictures of the animals so much that she created Instagram pages to share them with the world (@snoopy.and.rosie).

Exciting Events Update

c21 Helps Launch One Cumberland

c21 helped to launch the Cumberland Community Improvement District’s new nonprofit called One Cumberland with its inaugural annual Community Meeting in March!
The event, which had more than 300 attendees, started early with people arriving to the TKE Building at the Battery at 6:30 a.m. (It was an early start to the c21 team's day!)  People came to hear from experts on Cumberland’s businesses, multi-family and mixed-use developments, quality of life, cultural amenities and diversity. We planned the event, including the event backdrop, staging, production and more. We can't wait for next year!

On Tuesday, c21 planned and executed another flawless event for the Gateway85 Community Improvement District to honor Jimmy Carter – the man and the boulevard!
Held outside Global Mall in Norcross to showcase the new c21-designed banners honoring President Carter, more than 150 attendees listened to an impressive lineup of speakers, including former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Andrew Young, President Carter's grandson Jason Carter, Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, President of Habitat for Humanity International Jonathan Reckford, and Norcross Mayor Craig Newton among others. Hosted by Gateway85 CID’s Executive Director Emory Morsberger, the event was live-streamed.

Following the event, Gateway85 CID members and civic leaders enjoyed an international luncheon featuring restaurants along Jimmy Carter Boulevard and the district. Read more about the event in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution or watch the live stream here.
