Four faculty members receive Fulbright Scholar Awards

Kelly Caine, Laura R. Olson, Matthew Rhodes-Purdy and Kumar Venayagamoorthy have received Fulbright Scholar Awards, which provide international lecturing and research opportunities that advance careers while benefiting host institutions and countries. Upon return from their Fulbright experiences, faculty scholars can infuse curricula with cross-cultural perspectives and facilitate international research and engagement opportunities on campus.

Employee Resource Fair returns May 29 with 55+ vendors for faculty and staff

Held at Fike Recreation Center on Wednesday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the free event will connect faculty and staff with resources and organizations across the community. Admission is free for all Clemson faculty and staff.

Cherry Road between Jersey Lane and Godley-Snell entrance to close May 27 through June 10

To install new water lines, a section of Cherry Road between Jersey Lane and the entrance to the Godley-Snell Research Center will close starting Monday, May 27, through Monday, June 10 (weather permitting).

Last week, Clemson hosted the annual main campus Employee Appreciation Luncheon at The Dish at McAlister Dining Hall. Coordinated by the Office of the Human Resources and sponsored by Clemson Home, the event included live music, giveaways and an appearance by the Tiger mascot. Members of the Executive Leadership Team, including President Jim Clements, and other University leaders also served lunch to faculty and staff.

OnBase-Performance live trainings available ahead of June 30 staff performance evaluation deadline

The Office of Human Resources will offer live trainings to both employees and supervisors ahead of the June 30 performance evaluation deadline. The trainings will be offered both virtually and in person.
