SIS: Reporting in Focus

Although we aren’t implementing a new student information system (SIS) right away, the SIS project team is still working hard to prepare for the change to a new system with a new Reporting workstream.

The vision is to position existing reports into a comprehensive Activity Hub source prior to the Go Live of a new SIS. The work started with the creation of a report inventory, which after significant analysis and consultation will lead to the development of new reports and remediation where needed.

SIS Ideal State Sessions

A huge thanks to the 67 subject matter experts (SMEs) who contributed to our understanding of why we do what we do in our ideal state sessions!

In five different tracks that stretched from February through May, SMEs contributed over 2,600 hours working through Lean Six Sigma and other activities.

Work/Worm From Home

What does worm composting have to do with ESR? The practice embodies sustainability as articulated in the ESR goal to create agile, sustainable and supportive infrastructure.

We highlight it here because one SIS project team member is now sharing her Work From Home location with composting worms. As she searched for deeper meaning to this development in her home life, she was happy to see the connection to the "renewal" part of Enterprise Systems Renewal.
