Confession: I developed a bad plastic bag habit during Covid. Pre-pandemic, I dutifully brought my reusable bags to the grocery store. Things changed once Covid hit, however. Cashiers initially didn’t accept reusable bags, and after several months we entered this murky area where they were permitted but not preferred? I could never really tell. And as you know, once you get out of a habit, it’s really hard to get back in. Starting in January, however, I won’t have a choice.

After making it to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Media's Providence Animal Center, he is so ready to be home. Myers is cream and white with a short coat. He's 39 lbs of joy. The streets of South Wayne, PA will once again be “alive with the sound of all kinds of music” on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the annual South Wayne PorchFest. Now in its fifth year, South Wayne PorchFest will present 51 musical acts performing on porches throughout six residential blocks. Our “music streets”, Windermere Ave, St. Davids Rd. and the 300 and 400 blocks of Midland Ave. will be closed to motor vehicles, allowing visitors to amble freely from porch to porch.
