Pastor Appreciation Month

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, an opportunity for individuals and congregations "...to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake." (1 Thessalonian 5:12-13)

Take time this month (and throughout the year) to acknowledge the effort, love, and care your pastor puts into his ministry, your congregation, and your family.

Onsite Worship Workshops

The FWB Music Commission is once again offering Onsite Worship Workshops to churches. An Onsite Worship Workshop is an opportunity for FWB churches to apply to have an experienced Worship Leader (or two) come to their church to offer custom training and instruction for their worship team. Applications are open until October 22 and every church that applies will receive FREE Zoom training.

Mission North America Offering

The offering provides necessary resources for church planting, church revitalization, cross-cultural ministries, chaplaincy, and men’s ministry, as well as helps in funding vital ministries such as conferences, training, encouragement, and other essential ministry needs.

Welch Enrollment Increases Post-COVID

Welch College enrolled 388 students for the 2022 Fall semester, according to Dr. Matthew McAffee, Provost at Welch College. This number marks the first increase in enrollment since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, up 15 percent from a total enrollment of 336 in the fall of 2021.
