The truth is, sometimes it just feels good to talk. Talk to our friends who understand the challenges we face every day. Through conversations and performances over the course of the day, attendees will explore:

1. What are your ASPIRATIONS for your community?
2. What are the CHALLENGES you face in reaching these aspirations?
3. What are the NEW CONDITIONS needed to reach your aspirations?

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? artists, creative professionals, arts administrators and cultural institutions -- anyone interested in building a more creative and vibrant community through the arts!

At the end of the day, we hope to be energized and discover COMMON GROUND with fresh ideas for changing aspirations into reality.  Along the way, be inspired by some of Nebraska's most dynamic musicians, storytellers and other performing artists. 

ART CHAT will occur at four locations across Nebraska, so choose the one closest to you. Spend a day with your peers to celebrate the good work you’re doing or get the support to navigate a difficult situation.

Because we really want to see you there, we are offering Travel Subsidies of $50 to $100 to those who must travel more than 75 miles one-way to get to one of the Art Chat locations. So don't let distance stand in your way. If you qualify, check the travel subsidy box when you register.
