HiPitch 2026 – A Platform for Innovation
HiPitch 2026, hosted by the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP), is an upcoming program for students. It offers an exceptional opportunity to develop skills that will set them apart in today’s competitive landscape.
Too often, trainees become experts in how research is done but struggle to show why it matters. HiPitch flips that script—helping students step back, connect their work to the bigger picture. In just three minutes, students must present their work not as a technical exercise, but as a solution to a real health care problem.
HiPitch is more than a competition—it’s a platform for students to:
Communicate complex ideas clearly by crafting a concise, three-minute pitch.
Demonstrate real-world impact by connecting their research or innovation to health care challenges.
Build entrepreneurial and leadership skills valued across all disciplines.
Compete for significant prizes:
First Place: $5,000
Second Place: $2,500
Third Place: $1,000 (five awards)
Key Dates:
Registration Deadline: Jan. 16, 2026
Video Submission Deadline: Feb. 13, 2026
Grand Finals Live Event at UMSOP in Baltimore: April 8, 2026
