And we’re off! We began 2023 at the All-Park Meeting on Jan. 11 with Park Enrichment Grant posters, introductions to new staff, kudos from each class and a rousing game of extreme Rock, Paper, Scissors. 

In December, with the help of about 242 Regional Selection Committee members, we chose 450 Semifinalists for the Class of 2027. Candidates were selected from over 3,400 applications, up 55% over last year.

Today we announced the 112 Finalists who will be invited to campus for Final Selection Activities on Feb. 17-18. We are excited that Final Selection Activities will be fully in person. 

Send us photos of your adorable Bark Scholars and we will share them on social media! We love all of the pets, not just dogs (Meow Scholar just doesn’t roll off the tongue as well). You can get your Park Scholarship bandana in Meghan Hunt’s office in Peele Hall.
