Student Services Center Offering Remote Assistance Only on Fridays After 2 PM Starting Next Week |
Starting on Friday, September 13, the Student Services Center will close for in-person services at 2 pm every Friday. In lieu of in-person support, virtual and remote assistance will be available. This applies to Admissions and Records, Student Payment Services, Financial Aid, Counseling, the Career Center, the Transfer Center, EOPS, DSPS, and the Veterans Services Center. Five IVC Students Participate in Paid Undergraduate Research Experience |
On August 8, IVC students Steve Salinas, Lucius Gibbons, Julissa Maupin, Angel Rivera, and Alexander Martinez presented their research posters during the 11th annual California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) Summer Research Symposium. The students participated in Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education) as part of the Undergraduate Research Experience at CSUF. This year’s cohort of 46 participants each received a $5,000 stipend for their research and participation in the program. Read More »

Whether she’s teeing off on the golf course or problem solving on the computer, Vaishu Kagita consistently strives to boost her skills while closing gender gaps. The current president of Irvine Valley College (IVC)’s Girls Who Code Club – working to advance the role of women in technology – and a former member of her high school’s varsity golf team, she is now a data science major at IVC.
