| Course of the Week: Conservation Biology LAB
|
URock will be offering a number of engaging in-person/hyflex courses this Fall! This week's course of the week is BIO 103E ~ Conservation Biology LAB. In this hyrbid/blended, you will be introduced to the discipline of Conservation Biology, including the scientific study of the maintenance, loss, and restoration of biological diversity. The lab component meets weekly at URock on Friday from 9am - 12pm. The lecture is fully online and asynchronous.

| Art and Music Night Supporting Student Scholarships
|
On Thursday, April 24th there will be a night of art, music, and inspiration held at Jewett Hall at the UMA Augusta campus. This special fundraising event will be in support of student scholarships. The Art & Music Night will feature a student art exhibition, a reception with a cash bar, and live music performances by UMA's esteemed music faculty.
The event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcomed and encouraged, with all funds supporting scholarships for UMA art and music students.

The ELL Zone is a web series developed to help non-native English speakers improve their English. Each episode focuses on one concept of English. Tune in for this entertaining and engaging way of improving your English skills.

| Rockland Harborside Park Cleanup
|
Come celebrate Earth Day by helping to clean up Rockland Harborside Park. As a cleanup volunteer, you can help make the Rockland Harbor and waterfront a cleaner and safer place for the community. You'll be provided with all the tools you'll need. Coffee and a snack will be served in the morning, and a community cookout for all volunteers will be held at noon.
