Day of Prayer November 7

The events of the past week have been a stark reminder of the need to pray for our world, our country, and our churches.

Tuesday, November 7, is the denominational day of prayer. All Free Will Baptists are encouraged to participate. Barrett to Deliver Forlines Lectures

Dr. Matthew Barrett, Professor of Christian Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, will deliver a series of guest lectures during the 2023 Leroy Forlines Lectures, according to President Matt Pinson. The presentations are scheduled for November 9-10, 10:00 to 12:00, in Celorio Auditorium on the Welch campus. Barrett’s topic will be “The Reformation as Renewal.”

The current World Missions Offering total is $407,141! Thank you to all who have given.

Process of an Endowment

Endowment gifts are preserved so that the principal is not consumed. The earnings are "harvested" to support a specific Free Will Baptist ministry(ies). The original gift remains in place perpetually to earn ministry income.

Step 1: The creation of the endowment.
Step 2: After a year of growth, 5% of the interest gained is gifted to the FWB ministry chosen at the time of the endowment's creation.
Step 3: The remaining balance grows the endowment to make a more significant impact annually
Step 4: Steps 2 and 3 are repeated until the Lord returns.
