Good morning! New students, families and guests will visit main campus in June and July for Ready, Set, Roar!, a two-day in-person Orientation experience; the Office of Human Resources hosts training sessions to help staff and supervisors navigate OnBase-Performance.

What to know today:

Beginning today, new students, families and guests will be on main campus over 11 sessions in June and July for Ready, Set, Roar!, a two-day in-person Orientation experience. College of Science students visit today and tomorrow before College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences students visit June 5-6. The full schedule is available online.

Brooke Bennett, assistant professor of psychology and director of the BEAM (Body Image, Eating, Access and Media) Lab, has been recognized for her work mentoring undergraduate researchers with the Phil and Mary Bradley Faculty Award for Mentoring in Creative Inquiry.

How do you prepare for a marathon? Wally Dunn is a grants administrator for the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences who inspires Clemson students through his passion for teaching marathon training as a leisure skills instructor. Having completed 55 marathons since 1978, Dunn understands there is more to preparation than simply running — he shares six steps to effectively train for a marathon.
