I submitted my COVID-19 test results, so why can't I swipe in to my building?
If you did not submit your COVID-19 test results before Sunday, your NYU ID was turned off, even if you were previously accessing NYU buildings.
Reactivating the card requires two steps:
- A clearance from the COVID-19 Prevention & Response concerning your test (which takes about a day from submission and will come to you by email) and
- Reactivation of the card once you are cleared, which takes some hours. Reactivation will not typically happen the same day you submit your test results.
