Good morning! Clemson University named its Researchers of the Year and honored exceptional faculty achievement at the 10th Annual Research Symposium. Facilities teams begin work on summer construction projects; Take advantage of state employee discounts this week.

What to know today:

Mik Carbajales-Dale and Luigi Boccuto were named senior and junior Researchers of the Year at the 10th Annual Research Symposium last week. Clemson also honored faculty with University Research, Scholarship and Artistic Achievement Awards for their exceptional achievements.

Construction will begin or enter new phases on projects throughout main campus. Some of these projects will have impacts on University buildings, parking, transportation and access to the surrounding areas.

Several organizations across the state are offering discounts to state employees throughout the week, including the Columbia Fireflies and the Greenville Drive baseball teams.

Student Affairs recently presented its annual student awards during a divisionwide celebration of the 2025-26 academic year.

Brad Stancil, assistant director of Clemson University’s Fertilizer Regulatory and Certification Services, has been recognized with the 2025 Excellence in Innovation Award from the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies.

Clemson’s Artisphere exhibit helped patrons of the annual downtown Greenville festival be a part of creating the future. Take a look inside this year’s tent (featured on Fox Carolina), which was packed with hands-on fun for all ages, from designing artistic creations and customizing keepsakes to exploring robots, AI and immersive environments.
