Principles of Effective Program Design (HEA Credential Series)

This workshop will introduce aspiring administrators to principles that will help them effectively design student programs. Through a hands-on activity, participants will model the stages of the design cycle, from needs identification and assessment to program evaluation and monitoring. Participants will leave with an understanding of the design process and an ability to apply a design framework to address challenges faced by students—a helpful skill for future faculty members and administrators alike.

| Restorative Yoga
Monday, February 17, 3:00–4:00pm, Student Wellness Center, 840 E 59th St
Join Student Wellness for an accessible and approachable Restorative Yoga class that will help ease tension and melt your worries away. We use props like blocks, bolsters, and blankets to help you relax into supported postures that are held for several minutes at a time. We incorporate mindful breathing and meditation techniques such as Yoga Nidra that are sure to leave you calmer and more rested than when you walked in the door. Classes are free, open to all levels of experience and all props + mats are provided. Please come in comfortable clothing and dress in layers.
