What are your aspirations for the arts in your community? How about your state or region? It's time you had a platform for voicing those aspirations so change can begin.
Enter Art Chat. This is an opportunity for you, the artists, creative professionals, art teachers, administrators and cultural institutions of Nebraska to come together for a dialogue.

Why is this important?

It is this invaluable dialogue that will help us, as Nebraskans, maintain and continually enhance the refined and robust artistic opportunities to which we have access.

There's more!

At every Art Chat event there will also be a grant information session. Additionaly, there will be several other stand alone grant information sessions available for sign up. Being able to effectively apply for and receive grants is a vital component in succeeding as an individual or organization in the arts.
These information sessions are geared primarily towards applicant organizations, but individual artists are also welcome to attend. The sessions are free of charge and will include time for questions and answers.
Staff will also be available following the workshop for consultation regarding specific upcoming projects. Pre-registration is requested.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in building a more creative and vibrant community through the arts!
Travel Subsidies of $50 to $100 will be available to those who travel more than 75 miles one-way to get to one of the Art Chat locations, so don't let distance stand in your way. If you qualify, send us an email at nac.info@nebraska.gov.
