This month's Infinity Project participant is Sharon M, who will hide her Planet in the dunes at Crab Meadow Beach, in Northport, NY. This location is in honor of her mother, who played there as a child.
"The significance of this location is to find a place that made my mom happy, in memory of the time she met Josh at a restaurant and then was tremendously proud, throughout her life, to tell this story as she showed everyone the beautiful little Planet she purchased for herself. Although dementia now is gradually stealing this memory from her, the little planet continues to bring her happiness and remains one of her most cherished possessions. Hiding the planet in my mom's honor will be a beautiful statement to her and a way to honor all those who slowly fade away from their families because of this devastating disease of dementia."
