☀️ Welcome Our Summer AmeriCorps Members!
We are excited for the Summer AmeriCorps members to begin in Dodge County! Please help us welcome two outstanding individuals who will be supporting youth programming this summer:
Hi, I’m Izzy Haeft, and I will be serving as one of the Dodge County 4-H AmeriCorps members this summer! I am currently attending UW–La Crosse majoring in Biology: Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I look forward to my second year of creating and presenting STEM programs for the Dodge County community!
My name is Alexis McGuire, and I will be starting my second year at Madison Technical College this fall in the University Transfer program for Business and Economics. I have been involved with 4-H since I was a Cloverbud, participating in both local and state events. I recently moved to Columbus from De Pere last year and am excited to meet new people and get involved in the community.
This summer, Alexis will focus on structured food and nutrition lessons delivered to youth throughout the summer. Her summer programming will also include general health components, including mindfulness, brain breaks, social-emotional learning (SEL), and physical activity to support youth well-being and engagement.
Our goal is expanding access to high-quality nutrition education throughout Dodge County.
Thank you to both of them for their continued dedication to providing meaningful, enriching experiences for youth—we’re looking forward to a great summer!
Have a great week.
Marie

During the orientation, you’ll meet our camp counselors through fun introductions slides, hear important updates about camp plans and health information. It’s a great opportunity for campers to start building connections and feel comfortable before arriving at camp.
We hope you’ll join us!
By the way the counselors have chosen our theme as America Celebrates 250 at Dodge County 4-H camp

At the Dodge County Fair, 4-H youth have the opportunity to go beyond displaying their projects—they can share the story behind their learning. Through reflection, youth highlight the skills they’ve built, the challenges they’ve worked through, and how their passions have grown throughout the year. This experiential learning approach helps youth connect their efforts to real-world skills like communication, confidence, and personal growth.
Who may exhibit at the Dodge County Junior Fair?
All youth who are Dodge County youth organization members (4-H, FFA, Jr. Holstein Assn, or other recognized youth organization under adult leadership, grades K-13, that has an education program appropriate to that organization and is approved by the Dodge County Fair Board) are eligible to exhibit. Cloverbuds (grades K-2) may enter the Cloverbud category ONLY. Exhibitor grade is January 1 of the current year.
How to Enter Junior Fair Exhibits

In an effort to be more efficient, all dairy-activity cards must be printed and have signatures prior to arrival for the annual mandatory dairy-exhibitor meeting on July 27, 2026, at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. The exception to this effort is the line for "attendance at the mandatory exhibitor meeting."
