NSA ANNOUNCES RENEWED PARTNERSHIP WITH NCF
In a 30 April 2021 press release, NSA announced a renewed partnership with the Foundation - with a focus on increasing educational and public engagement opportunities centered on cybersecurity, national security, and cryptology.
The partnership will continue to form a bridge linking public and private sector experts on national security and cybersecurity - enabling them to collaborate on issues of national security importance. The partnership's key emphasis will remain on cryptology and cybersecurity.
Learn more about the shared vision of our "Progress Through Partnership" which will create pathways and opportunities for individuals and organizations across public and private sectors to engage on U.S cybersecurity and national security.  It will emphasize educating a diverse future generation about the profession dedicated to this joint focus – cryptology.

Our 2021 Spring Cryptologic Program will take place virtually via Zoom webinar on 13 May at 11am EDT, and will feature Dr. Robert Spalding, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret).
Dr. Spalding's presentation, “What’s to Follow in 2021? From Coronavirus to Taiwan – the new Chinese Communist Party," will focus on his recent and very timely book, Stealth War: How China Took Over While America’s Elite Slept.

During this #CyberChat for students, our friends Melissa Dark and Jenny Daugherty from Teach Cyber, along with Mark Emry, a Teach Cyber educator, will talk with students about cyber career opportunities and the paths to pursuing a cyber career. During this NCF #CyberChat - Jennifer Munt, Education and Workforce Director at the Ft. Meade Alliance will introduce students to the Intelligence Community, and will explore the who, how, and why of security clearances. 

How Cryptology Helped Win the Battle of Midway
25 May, 2pm EDT

During this NCF #CyberChat - we will discuss critical elements that allowed the U.S. to turn the tide; from the widely discussed naval battle to the under-emphasized (but vital) role of US Navy cryptology. Will Sciandra, a First Class Cadet (Senior) at the Virginia Military Institute, will also discuss with students how cryptology still plays a major role in cyber, where it’s headed, and how to get involved.
