An April ribbon cutting marked the formal opening of the Dessy-Roffman Myth Collaborative space, next to the English Department in the new Leonard Hall. The collaborative was established through a gift from Blane Dessy ’73 in honor of professor emerita Rosaly DeMaios Roffman’s influence on his life.
How might racial bias impact perceptions of hip-hop and politically driven rap lyrics? Doctoral candidate Jeremy McCool will discuss the topic—his dissertation focus—to open the Diversity Research Presentation Series on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.
In its Best Online Colleges and Universities listing, EDsmart placed IUP in the top 20 nationally and the top 10 in Pennsylvania. Rankings were based on affordability and on student satisfaction, retention, and outcomes.
