Myth Collaborative Dedication

An April ribbon cutting marked the formal opening of the Dessy-Roffman Myth Collaborative space, next to the English Department in the new Leonard Hall. The collaborative was established through a gift from Blane Dessy ’73 in honor of professor emerita Rosaly DeMaios Roffman’s influence on his life.

“Miseducation of Hip-Hop” Opens Diversity Series

How might racial bias impact perceptions of hip-hop and politically driven rap lyrics? Doctoral candidate Jeremy McCool will discuss the topic—his dissertation focus—to open the Diversity Research Presentation Series on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.
