Deb's Sparks!
Where did September go? It was a busy month for me and if you were looking for the September newsletter in your inbox, you did not find it.  I simply ran out of time.  Here's my story....
Unfortunately, my mother landed in the hospital in late August prompting a more than 2 week stay in an acute rehab facility. At the same time, I was preparing for a 12 day vacation in Italy.  The universe is always watching out for us and in this instance, it managed one of my biggest vacation concerns - I did not have to worry (as much) about my mother and father while I was in Italy.  More than a month later, Mom is home, getting stronger and smiling. I recently posted a blog about Mom and the importance of Beauty Therapy
Italy was a wonderful vacation with 14 friends.  Can you imagine coordinating 15 people for 12 days in a foreign country without travel professionals?  We planned for more than a year and used our delegation skills so that everyone participated.  It was a celebration trip for one of my dear friend's milestone birthdays!  It was a great celebration and vacation with lots of friends, food and wine!.  Here are a few photos:
Upon my return from Italy, my favorite volunteer event was happening - RUMMAGE!  So I went from vacation mode to volunteer mode. The weather was beautiful in the Northeast until the actual sale, then it rained and was cold for most of the sale days.  While the weather may have dampened our sales, it could not dampen our spirit. As Rummage ended for another year, my heart was full and I look forward to the Spring.
So, its been a bit busy here at Real Life Spark! Please forgive the absence of the September Newsletter and I hope you enjoy the change in format in this month's newsletter.
Wishing you peace, love and sparks, Deb
New Ventures!
In the August newsletter, I mentioned my new affiliation with Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life.  I am thrilled to be one of the experts on the Good Life advisory team! I provide tips that are broadcast on the radio program, articles for the magazine and participate in events.  In this photo, I am signing up new subscribers at BergenFest!  The subscription is free and the magazine is digital (nothing to recycle!). You should sign up.
I have also mentioned an article about volunteerism (its my journey to find Rummage) that will be published in an upcoming book!  Well, the book has a title "Keys to a Good Life" and will be published this Fall by Maximillan Publishing, a sister company to Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life!  Stay tuned for more information.
Mindful You in 4 Q!
As I mentioned above, I have been writing articles for the Change Your Attitude,Change Your Life online magazine 24/7.  Sometimes, I miss the deadline, like I did for the October issue (it was September 1, see Deb's Sparks!).  It's a fun article focusing on self-care through the busiest time of year.  You can read it here.  Enjoy!

“I want to say that I enjoyed your intuitive coaching workshop at last Friday's job club at CCM. It helped to answer some questions and opened my eyes to other solutions.”
