Whether you’re returning to campus or starting a new term at PSU, the VRC is a place to connect with other students and learn about support available to you. Need a Place to Stay During the I-5 Closure? 🏨 |

Need a place to stay? If the closure is making your commute difficult, University Place Hotel is on the PSU campus and is offering affected PSU community members a rate of $65 per night, plus tax. To get the special rate, call 503-221-0140 and give them code EPSU5 or say you’re staying because of the I-5 closure. You can call ahead to reserve, or ask about walk-in availability.

Join us Wednesday, September 30, from 9:30-11:00 AM in the VRC. Meet the VRC team, enjoy breakfast, explore the space, and learn about support and resources for veterans and military-affiliated students. Stop by, ask questions, and get familiar with the VRC as you start the fall term. We hope to see you there!

Free Tutoring for Veteran & Military-Affiliated Students ✏️ |

|
Tutor.com is available for PSU veterans, military-affiliated students, and students using VA education benefits. This free tutoring resource can help with writing, math, business courses, study support, and more. Eligible students can complete the Google Form linked below to sign up and get connected with tutoring support. Students using any VA education benefit at PSU are eligible.

Take a break, relax, and make time for your well-being at the VRC. Acupuncture appointments will be available on October 6, 13, and 20 from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM in SMSU Basement, Room 018. Whether you’re new to acupuncture or have tried it before, you’re welcome to reserve an appointment. We hope you can join us and reserve your appointment today!

The VRC maintains a limited supply of emergency loaner laptops for military-affiliated and veteran students facing unexpected hardship, such as a sudden hardware failure or a delay in receiving equipment through VA benefits. Laptops are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the form with your current term, laptop preference, and a brief description of your situation or urgency. A VRC staff member will reach out to schedule an in-person pickup appointment and complete the lending agreement.

PSU students can now purchase a C-TRAN Student Transit Pass for $165 per term. The pass works on both the C-TRAN Express Bus and TriMet MAX and bus lines.
Fall passes are valid September 20–December 31. Students must be currently enrolled at PSU, have a valid photo ID, and agree to the Student Transit Pass terms and conditions. Passes are nonrefundable, and lost Hop cards have a $3 replacement fee.
Fall passes can be purchased online or in person at PSU Transportation & Parking Services in the Academic and Student Recreation Center.
