Rutherford County High School Students Complete NHC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
Twelve students from Rutherford County high schools recently completed their CNA certification over Christmas break.  These students, who are enrolled in the Health Science pathway, are now qualified to work at different healthcare facilities throughout Rutherford County. 
Graduates included: 
Smyrna High School - 6
Oakland High School - 2
Central High School - 4
Rutherford County 4-H Needs Volunteers for their Communication Fair
The Rutherford County 4-H is in need of volunteers on February 13, 2016.  

Volunteers are needed for the following: 
  • Judges for public speaking: arrive at 8:30am and finished around 12 p.m., breakfast provided
  • Judges for demonstrations/exhibits: arrive at 1pm and finished around 4:30 p.m., lunch provided
  • There will be a break in between for lunch.
  • Teen leaders needed that day as room monitors for the morning and afternoon sessions.

All volunteers must be 18 or older.
