Deb's Sparks!
It's June and the summer soltice is approaching on Sunday June 21, 2015 at 12:39 PM on the east coast.  As a kid (and as an adult) I love watching the days grow longer and the longest day, June 21st, is bittersweet. I enjoy the light of the longest day but know that the next day will be a bit shorter and we are heading toward the shortest day.  The summer soltice is more importantly the first day of Summer!  And I love summer - it means spending time outdoors, going to the beach, going on vacation and another year of Camp Aunt Debbie!
I am blessed to have a nephew and niece who like to spend time with me. In 2003, Camp Aunt Debbie (CAD) was born out of necessity for my nephew.  He spent a week with me and we created a week of fun, education and little rule breaking.  It always includes an amusement park, a museum, and ice cream for breakfast.  We stay up late, watch movies, sleep in and order pizza.  It's great fun and I am looking forward to creating memories with my niece this year in August! While there is no age limit to CAD, my nephew has a busy summer full of work and activities. Thankfully, we will have the opportunity to spend time together in Disney in July.
What are your plans for the summer?  What memories will you create?  It doesn't take a lot of money to create and build memories but it does take one of our most precious resources, time.  So find a few minutes to spend time with the people you love.
Ice cream for breakfast, anyone?
Peace, Love and Sparks!  Deb
Igniting YOUR Transformation! Tend to your crop!
We are halfway through the year and its a good time to revisit the intentions we set at the beginning of the year.  Did you create a list of resolutions?  Did you create a vision board?  How do you feel about your intentions and resolutions today?  Have you made progress?  Do you need to revise them?
Your intentions are like seeds that you developed in the winter and planted in the Spring.  Now that summer is approaching, its time to tend to your crop and nuture your dreams and ideas. Take a few minutes to review them.  Spend some quality time with your vision board.  What have you accomplished?
Here's my vision board:
I have been to California (March), I am visiting Florida and Disney in July and planning id underway for the big trip of the year, ITALY, including my famous vacation plan spreadsheet! So the vacation section of my vision board is in good shape.  I have not spent one minute on my household projects - painting and replacing my bedroom floor.  That needs attention.  I have been writing more, which helps me understand my life lessons.
I'm not going to add anything to my vision board at this point but I will refocus my efforts on my household projects and my daily practices of meditation, gratitude and writing.
What's your assessment of your progress?  There is no right or wrong answer or approach, things change and just like the GPS in your car, sometimes you need to recalculate your plan.
As the farmer of your life, tend to your goals, dreams and intentions. Water them daily.  Give them love and room to grow. Plan your harvest and enjoy the bounty of your crop.
Tools You can Use!  My One Word for 2015 - Trust!
2015 has been a year about TRUST for me. I could feel the energy of TRUST come in with the new year and it was confirmed with the One Word process in March.  It's a year of awareness to trust my intuition. As I mentioned last month, I have ignored the voice of my heart a couple of times this year.  The good news is I am aware and can try again.  Life is a journey and we need to learn to TRUST the process.  Trust will continue to be in focus for me.  What's your One Word?  You can find more information here.

“I want to say that I enjoyed your intuitive coaching workshop at last Friday's job club at CCM. It helped to answer some questions and opened my eyes to other solutions.”
