Well-being Wednesdays will provide employees opportunities to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle both at work and at home. We invite you to join us each Wednesday as we explore and engage with the four pillars of well-being: financial, emotional, physical, and social.
Whether it’s incorporating meditation into your daily activities, reworking those weeknight recipes, building your parenting prowess or a stronger financial plan, we’ve got something for you. | Women's History Month
This month we recognize Women's History to pay tribute to the trailblazing women who lead the way for change. Join Fidelity in celebrating Women’s History month by attending events in their month-long Women Talk Money series. The events will cover topics ranging from chatting about money, to careers, and ways to create more opportunities for employees to thrive. Some special guests including Jessica Alba and Venus Williams will be featured at events throughout the month sharing their stories, financial tips, and ways we can be role models for one another for generations of women to come.

FSA Deadlines
Attention 2022 FSA participants! If you have eligible expenses you have not yet submitted to Payflex for 2022, you have until April 30, 2023 to do so. Please see the Filing a Claim with Payflex PDF and the applicable deadline information highlighted below.
- Health Care FSA members – your claims must be for eligible expenses incurred between January 1, 2022* and March 15, 2023.
- Dependent Day Care FSA members – your claims must be for eligible expenses incurred between January 1, 2022* and December 31, 2022.
Per IRS requirements, any funds remaining in your account on April 30 will be forfeited.
*If your effective date of coverage is after January 1, 2022, you can only submit claims for eligible expenses incurred on or after your effective date through the end dates listed above.

| TODAY! GW Blood Drive
With the national blood shortage in mind, GWU Red Cross will be participating in the second annual NCGCR (National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region) blood drive battle against other local colleges with hopes of reclaiming their first-place trophy and the title of the Blood Battle Winner. The drive is on Tuesday, March 7th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the University Student Center Grand Ballroom. Paid Time Off Reminder
Taking Paid Time Off on a more regular basis is one way to finally have those extra few minutes to start that healthy regimen that has been on the back-burner. As a reminder, you have until June 30, 2023 to plan to use your time off.
We asked HR colleagues to share some of their favorite healthy recipes they discovered while taking some much-needed time away. | GW Tax Clinic
The George Washington University School of Business and School of Law students are helping the community with a free income tax return preparation clinic for those with adjusted gross income of $73,000 or less. The tax clinic is offered on a first come, first served basis both Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am to 4:30pm through April 16th at Duquès Hall.
