Happy Student Appreciation Week to our wonderful student body! Though you are a valued part of our community every day of the year, we dedicate this week to celebrating you in a special way. As a thank you, each student will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a gift card. There are also opportunities to post on social media or attend events on campus to receive additional entries to win. The number of entries is based on each student's involvement throughout the week. Honors Senior Thesis Presentations

Join us on March 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30 for the Honors Thesis Presentations. After each presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. Please click here for the program with locations, times, and presentation topics. We hope that you can attend to support and celebrate these graduating seniors.

“Why are you afraid? It’s just a gift!” A simple gift, text message, or personal visit may not immediately appear to be threatening, but in the context of stalking, they can signal danger for a victim of this crime. Check out this video to learn more about why understanding the context behind behaviors is critical to identifying stalking.

All students applying for graduation, including both 2023 graduate and undergraduate students, are invited to participate in the new Cavalier Graduate Survey relating to your experiences at Walsh University, future employment, and/or educational plans post-graduation. Employer Visit Series:
Kenan Advantage Group, Inc.

Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. has invited interested students to do a site visit on Wednesday, April 12. The group will depart outside the Marlene and Joe Toot Global Learning Center at 4:30 p.m. Hear from employees including Walsh alumni about how they activated their degrees at North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, tour the facility, network with professionals and learn about available internship and job opportunities! Students who need resume guidance, professional clothing or transportation, contact Elissa at eprazer@walsh.edu. Food and beverages will be provided on site.

The Blouin scholars recently hosted an esteemed panel of education leaders who shared their perspectives on the issue of poverty and educational success. Stark Education Partnership President Dr. John Richard, Stark County Educational Services Center’s Dan Lowmiller and Patti Fetzer, Osnaburg Local Schools Superintendent Kevin Finefrock, and Gessner Family Foundation’s Bob Gessner collectively gave the Blouin Scholars a glimpse of the collaborative landscape of service in our community and challenged them to consider how they fit into that space as it relates to their cohort topics.

RSVP for the International Dinner and Cultural Festival

Let’s give our international community a great showing! The annual International Dinner and Cultural Festival is an opportunity for the Walsh community to come together to celebrate our cultural diversity and to experience the music, fashion, food and traditions of the countries our international students represent. Featured performances include the University Choral, World Music Ensemble, traditional Nepalese and Indian dances, poetry, skits and singing by members of the Walsh community. Food will be provided by the World Student Organization and Sodexo. Tickets include dinner and entertainment and cost $15 for adults, $5 for students. RSVP Here
