As the growing season progresses, weather becomes a critical piece of the production puzzle. The Wisconsin Ag Climate Outlook is published weekly and outlines temperature and precipitation trends and outlooks and provides management considerations for crop growers to use as they make key decisions. A partnership between the Midwest Climate Hub, Extension, NRCS and the WI State Climatology office, this service aims to keep producers well informed on current and forecasted conditions in the area. Still, it is something that many people find challenging. Only 23% follow through with documenting and sharing those plans with their loved ones to carry out those wishes. Roberts Boys and Girls Club 4-H Art Club
Tracy Keifenheim, 4-H Educator, partnered with the Fond du Lac Boys and Girls Club Roberts location to continue a 4-H club within the Boys and Girls Club. Keifenheim worked with Anna Koepsell, Roberts Extension Director, to build out the 6-week Art Club for 1st and 2nd-grade members.

Heat Stress Abatement in Dairy Facilities
Hot weather can bring a long list of problems for dairy producers. When cows are heat stressed, they eat less, produce less milk, have reduced immune function and higher SCC, and show reduced fertility. A spike in lameness often follows the hot season. In addition to the economic burden, the discomfort from heat stress also reduces animal welfare.

Fruit and Vegetable Rx Program
According to the 2021 Fond du Lac County health assessment, 52% of adults and 35% of students consume at least two servings of fruit on a day and 23% of adults and 17% of students consume at least three servings of vegetables in a day. The goal is to increase the fruit and vegetable intake of Fond du Lac County residents, which can contribute to prevention of overweight/obesity and chronic disease.

Foods Revue
June 13 I REGISTER
The youth will make a food item from the category listed using the cocoa theme. Youth will set one place setting, to include a recipe card for the item made, placemat or tablecloth, and centerpiece. Any member can make one food entry, one photography entry, and one centerpiece entry in the Foods Revue.
Fashion Revue

This event provides a place where youth can showcase their clothing, knitting, crocheting, and consumer savvy projects. Youth gain life skills from this event. Participants are graded on their garment, creativity, and overall appearance of garment on the model.
Cloverbud Day Camps

Camp for youth from grades Kindergarten to 2nd. This camp focuses on a topic for the youth to explore. The camp runs from 9 am-3 pm at UWO Fond du Lac Campus. Topics include Buzz, Flutter, Crawl, STEM, and Teddy Bear Adventures.
Around the World Camp
June 10-12 I 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM I REGISTER
Grab your passports and pack your bags to travel with us around the world. Play sports or geography games, listen to music, create cultural crafts, and enjoy traditional foods. Youth will have the opportunity to visit one country in the morning and one country in the afternoon to collect 6 passport stamps in total.
Foodie Day Camp
June 17-19 I 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM I REGISTER
Put on your aprons and chef hats! Campers will measure, chop, and stir their way into the cooking world by creating recipes and snacks! Youth will compile a recipe book at the end of camp. Each day youth will have the chance to practice different culinary skills while cooking in the kitchen.
STEM Day Camp
July 23-25 I 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM I REGISTER
Youth who love science will get the chance to tinker, build, and experiment. This camp will provide a variety of science, technology, engineering, and math activities. Some activities may include electricity-circuit building, engineering challenges such as egg drop, parachutes, or vehicles, forensics science, and more. Science experiments maybe messy or ooey gooey! Youth will learn critical thinking skills while doing hands on activities!
Art Day Camp
August 5-7 I 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM I REGISTER
Art-Rageous 2-D Camp - Calling all youth artists! From clay to oil pastels and everything in between, youth will explore art by channeling their creativity while learning about different artists, techniques, and medias. Youth will explore visual arts such as drawing, painting, printing making, photography, and more. Bring your paint clothes and creative minds and we will supply the rest! Super Sculptures 3-D Camp - Youth will explore various 3-D forms of art such as macrame, sculpting, hand-built clay pottery, weaving, soap carving, and recycled art. Youth will work with various materials such as clay, wood, paper, yarn, soap and more. Creative Cultural Arts Camp - Youth will learn about different cultural arts which might include origami, braiding, dream catcher making, weaving, and more.
Cardboard Day Camp
August 20-22 I 9:00 AM -12:30 PM I REGISTER
Open to youth in grades 2nd-8th, this 3-day in-person cardboard camp will provide youth an opportunity to be creative. Does your child love animals? This camp youth will focus on creating animals from various materials such as cardboard boxes, paper towel tubes, paper plates, and more. By the end of the week, youth will have created a Zoo diorama they can take home! In addition to learning about the building process, youth will learn about the animals they create!
LEGO Day Camp
August 20-22 I 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM I REGISTER
LEGO Camp is a camp for youth to learn different LEGO building skills. The LEGO Club and project is growing fast. Join us during this camp and get a taste of what LEGO Club is like! Youth will build different creations with the LEGO bricks at the office. No need to bring any from home! Youth will also learn about different building and engineering techniques, as well as doing some LEGO crafts they can take home! Youth will work as a team to complete a challenge, so let’s get building! Grades 3-8 can participate.
