Good morning! Clemson launched a dedicated "Your Clemson" newsletter for students yesterday. The updated Faculty Manual is now available; learn about an alumna's path to Clemson through a shared goal to conserve and protect endangered tigers.

What to know today:

Your Clemson, an e-newsletter for all actively enrolled students, sent its first edition yesterday morning. The twice-a-week communication includes top news, leadership messages, academic updates, safety and well-being resources, tech tips, upcoming events and more.

Allysa Baker, a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Sciences, recently compiled the first nuclear and mitochondrial genomic portrait of the Juan Fernandez Islands rock lobster Jasus frontalis. Also known as Robinson Crusoe’s spiny lobster, the crustacean plays a key role in the local ecosystem and economy.

Hrishita Negi was a natural for Tigers United's mission at Clemson: To save wild tigers in India and worldwide through education, training, research, technology and raising awareness. Since 2022, her work implementing a system of AI-enabled trail cameras has been instrumental in aiding tiger conservation efforts.
