Dear Traveler:

If you were planning on a wintertime trip to Transylvania County before green things started popping up all over the forest, I have some bad news for you: spring has already sprung. The mild February is giving way to a glorious March. The spring fever is contagious. Tourists have reported coming down with it after only a few minutes outside on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon and have consequently sworn off their parkas for the rest of the season. Even the white squirrels have pulled out their pastels.

In keeping with the spirit of the season, opportunities for adventure are springing up all over the place—from art and music to outdoor exploration to stargazing and loads more. You’re pretty much guaranteed to find an interesting path when spring comes marching into Transylvania County.

Catch you in April,

 The Adventurist
