Interested in Medicine or Public Health?!

This year's special guest is an OBGYN, who will discuss all things OB and medical school for those interested. The theme for this year's event will be The Application Process—interviewing, grades, admissions testing (OAT, DAT, MCAT, PCAT, etc), paying for clinical education, and composing the perfect personal statement.   

October Make Mondays Matter 

On Monday of each month, this regular service opportunity allows students to give back while they are on campus. This month, SLCE has partnered with UI Health. Join us on October 7th from 11 AM - 1 PM in making cards for the Survivorship Clinic!

Institute for Population Health Sciences

The Institute for Population Health Sciences is looking for interns for Winter Semester 2025 who are interested in public health, research and/or community engagement.
This position will be mostly remote and flexible to work around the intern's class schedules. Internship will be held between Monday, January 6th through Friday, March 28th.

Job Description:
Assistant Coach/ Office Management assesses clients and develops programs consisting of the strength and conditioning pyramid. The asst. coach is responsible for leading clients through muscle release and correcting movement restrictions, marketing ideas, campaigns, and events. Asst. coach instructs their own classes/sessions making sure safety is a priority. Always staying up to date on current movement science breakthroughs and advancements. 
Education/Skills/Qualification:
Exercise Science, Kinesiology, CSCC, CPR certified, Currently enrolled in a PT program.
Currently working toward finishing a degree in an accredited Health Sciences.
