Rosendale 4-H Club: April 6, 2025

Submitted by Reporter, Eli Curtis
The Rosendale 4-H club met on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Generation Lanes.
After the pledge, we had the Secretary’s and Treasurer's reports.  There was no old business.
For new business, we talked about the 4-H Record Book Submission Challenge. It was decided that everyone who submits a record book will get $20.00 to spend at Bluemkes. We also talked about a 4-H silent auction basket. The Derksens will be in charge and spend $50.00 to make it. Adult Leaders Raffle Tickets will be handed out at the May meeting and every member needs to sell some. The Teen Leaders Association will meet on April 22, at 6:30 p.m., at Rolling Meadows Meeting Room.
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, May 4, at 1 p.m.  We will paint clay pots for Mother’s Day.  Make sure to RSVP so we have enough pots and plants.
After the meeting, we went bowling, just for fun.

Adult Leader Raffle

The 4-H Raffle Committee is looking for help with securing donations for the annual raffle. It would be very much appreciated if each club could please acquire at least one raffle prize. Please get raffle prize information to Judy Bertram by Monday, April 14; you can reach her at mandjbertram@gmail.com or by phone at 920-922-9379. Most of our prizes are mailed out to the winners, so certificates/gift cards work out the best. The raffle tickets will be distributed to clubs at the April 30 Adult Leaders Meeting. The raffle drawing will take place at the Adult Leaders Meeting on August 20. This is a primary source of money to build programs for our 4-H youth. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 a ticket and youth will not need to sell as many.
Thanks to the Busy Bees and Green Valley 4-H Clubs, who have shared their donations with Judy for ticket printing!
