The Washington Square Association proudly invites you to celebrate the 100th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting! For a century now, the Washington Square Association has provided the 45 foot tree, delivered to Washington Square Park at the end of November and beautifully decorated with 8,100 lights by dedicated Parks Department staff. On December 11, the first hour will be filled with holiday festivities including stilt walkers, photos with Santa Claus, and much more followed by the tree lighting and carolling at 6 p.m. sharp.

Experience the Voices of Henry Street Choir in a luminous environment! The Voices of Henry Street Choir led by Michael Inge returns to Sasaki Garden on December 11. Perform as part of the group by joining the choir or by following the Singers Circle Voices of Henry Street Set List and practice on your own.

More than 100 booths fill Union Square Park for its annual Holiday Market. You’ll find plenty of affordable, quality items, as well as coupons for local businesses at the information booth.

Join the Washington Square Association and celebrate the holiday with carols near the Washington Square Arch! The Rob Susman Brass Quartet, the song leader Linseigh Green, and the revelers from all over the city will lustily sing out the familiar tunes.
