| | Federation Leads Rabbinic Mission to Israel
Federation
Last night, Federation CEO, Gil Preuss, and a cohort of rabbis from congregations across Greater Washington embarked on a special Federation Rabbinic Mission to Israel. We are proud that this group is among the first missions to visit Israel since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to sharing additional updates from the Mission, and on how we continue to meet evolving needs in Israel.

- Delivering Good
On June 7th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and June 8th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, help Bender JCC, Montgomery County Food Council, and Montgomery County Public Schools organize produce and shelf-stable items for delivery to county residents who are unable to travel to other distribution sites.
- Volunteer with your Furry Friends
Looking for volunteers with dogs, cats, or bunnies to visit the residents of nursing homes, assisted living and memory impaired facilities in Fairfax County.
- Read and Record a Storybook
Many children in our area do not have access to books when they can’t go to school or the library. Help the United Way bring literature to them by reading (recording) a story and submitting it to them! To complete this project, you only need a book suitable for children and a way to record video.
