Hey 4-H Crew!
You’re the heart of 4-H, and we want to hear from YOU! The Wisconsin Youth Survey is your chance to tell us what’s awesome, what could be better, and how 4-H has made an impact in your life.
It’s quick, easy, and confidential—plus, your ideas help shape the future of 4-H!
Check your email for your individual survey link from Wisconsin 4-H and Josset Gauley, the Wisconsin 4-H Evaluation Specialist. Take a few minutes, share your thoughts, and help make 4-H even more amazing!
We need to have 20% of the youth in Dodge County complete the survey to get Dodge County results. Thanks to the 29 youth that have completed the survey, but we need about 50 more to get our results. Please help us by completing the survey when it comes to your email this week.
I am also looking for some clubs in the county to pilot a sparks lesson to help youth identify their sparks. This would include me attending a meeting and a lesson on sparks, and some follow up sparks discussions in the club with possible programs to help youth feel supported in their sparks area. Please reach out to me if you have questions or are interested in this idea.

National 4-H Congress is a five-day Educational Experience held in Atlanta, GA. Congress is the premiere nation-wide event for 4-Hers to network with others from around the country, Canada, and Puerto Rico. While at Congress, 4-Hers engage in leadership, citizenship, global awareness, and inclusion.

Lakeside 4-H had a busy and meaningful November! Several of our members achieved milestones, and for the third year in a row, we were honored to help welcome home our veterans at the Badger Honor Flight in Madison. Supporting our troops and veterans is something we look forward to every year.
We were also grateful for the opportunity to deliver two complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. As we head into the Christmas season, Lakeside is excited to go Christmas caroling, deliver treat baskets and handmade crafts to elderly community members, and visit local nursing homes to spread holiday cheer. As always, we also plan to provide a Christmas feast to one or two families who could use a little extra help this season.

Looking for a meaningful way to support youth, grow your skills, and make an impact in your community? Wisconsin 4-H AmeriCorps is now recruiting for half-time and quarter-time positions across the state!

Join us for a fun and informative evening to welcome new families to 4-H!
Meet leaders, ask questions, and enjoy activities led by 4-H youth members. Please sign up so we have a headcount for the evening. Registration is on 4HOnline.
There’s something fun for everyone in Dodge County 4-H!

Registration is open until the end of December. The cost is $23 per person. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Families and guests are also welcome. Lunch is not provided, so participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.

This is a virtual opportunity for youth across the nation to come together and make sweet treats and fun crafts for the holidays. There will be LIVE events via Zoom and pre-recorded activities. There is also an option for YOU to submit your own sweet treat or fun craft for other kids to enjoy.
