Just Heading Out to Check On Some Exoplanets
A powerful new space telescope will soon be launched to an orbit that's about a million miles away from Earth. Once there, it will turn its gaze toward the deepest realms of deep space. (photo: NASAspaceflight.com)
Successor to Hubble Telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope is three times larger than Hubble and vastly more powerful. New technology will enable it to look far back in time, perhaps to the Big Bang. It will also be able to see whether Exoplanets actually look just like Simpson planets!
Could the Universe be full of marvelous undiscovered species, life forms and... maybe, maybe... intelligent beings? A lot of people here on Earth might be eagerly waiting to find out, but Josh has always known.
The photos below represent the many different imaginary Planets Josh creates. Browse categories to see more like them. Maybe you'll find something you've never before discovered or imagined!
