9/11 Survivor and Inspirational Author Genelle Guzman-McMillan Coming to Campus Dec. 2 |
On Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cecchini Center Auxiliary Gym, hear Genelle Guzman-McMillan, the last person rescued alive from the World Trade Center rubble on 9/11, share her unforgettable story. Her experience goes far beyond survival. Trapped for 27 hours in total darkness, buried under concrete and steel, she found hope when there was none. Her story is a living lesson in faith, resilience, and the choice to rebuild when life changes in an instant. Genelle’s journey will challenge you to reflect, find perspective, and appreciate the everyday moments we often take for granted.
The event, which will include a reception and book signing, is made possible by Christ the King Apostolic Church, Christ the Servant and Little Flower Catholic parishes, and the Education for Life Colloquium, with support from the Wilkof and Nolan families. Register Here
