Great Expectations

It's time to say goodbye, our joy-filled school year has come to an end.

We've made more cherished memories and many more new friends.

We've watched our Dragons learn and grow and change from day to day.

We hope that all the things we've taught have inspired them in exciting ways.

So it's with HAPPY MEMORIES we send them out the door,

With great HOPE and EXPECTATIONS for what next year holds in store.

Wishing all of our Dragons a fun and restful break. As you leave school to enjoy the summer, may you go with a song and a smile in your hearts.

Summer Assignments Now Posted

Whether you call it the Summer Slide or the Brain Drain, students can lose ground in reading and math over the summer break. To help our students practice what they learned this year, St. Michael's has posted summer assignments and recommended reading lists for grades 1-8 via the button below, along with Fall 2023 Back to School supply lists.

You may also find this information on our website under "Community/Summer-Back to School." Now that the school year is complete, our administrative team will be finalizing Back to School information. Please also check the aforementioned website link again in late July for important updates.

2023 Summer Assignments and Supply Lists

PowerSchool Parent Portal: Back to School Forms

Student Back to School forms, health and athletic forms, and medical information will continue to be managed through the St. Michael's PowerSchool and Magnus Health secure databases for the upcoming school year.

All St. Michael's Health Forms and Back to School forms will go live for the '23-'24 school year on MONDAY, JUNE 12. Following the release of forms in the school database on June 12, you will be able to complete forms through the PowerSchool Parent Account that you have created. An email will go out to all St. Michael's families on Monday with detailed instructions for locating the necessary forms within your PowerSchool Parent Account.

We ask that you enter the health information required within your Magnus Health account for each child attending St M no later than AUGUST 1. There will also be additional Back to School forms due prior to orientation in August. Please contact Michael Jones, Director of Technology, with any questions.

NOTE: If your children in rising grades 4-8 are playing any sports at St M, an Athletic Participation Form needs to be completed by a family physician this summer.

NEW FAMILIES: You should have received an email this past week from the Admissions Office containing instructions and login instructions to our PowerSchool/Magnus Health Portal. Please contact Admissions Director Alison Roussy with any questions.

Dress Code Input

As we plan for 2023-24 and review policies and school standards, we seek parent input on our St. Michael's dress code. A copy of the 2022-23 dress code may be found HERE.

Summer Administrative Office Hours

St. Michael's will observe summer office hours starting the week of June 12.

Our Administrative Offices will be open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (Closed on Fridays)
Our Extended Programs Summer Camp team will be working Monday-Friday (June 20-August 4) during camp hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Support the Annual Fund!

Thank you to all who have made gifts to the Annual Fund this year! Parent participation is at 62%.

There is still time to participate in the Annual Fund. Please join with other St. Michael's parents in working together to make this year's Annual Fund a success!
