NAFWB Day of Prayer

Make plans now to take part in the NAFWB Day of Prayer, Thursday, November 7. Eight times in the scripture we are called upon to love our neighbors. One of the best ways to love our neighbor is to pray for them. Sign up at https://nafwb.org/bless to receive daily emails with five of your neighbors to pray for. Our goal is 100,000 prayers by the Day of Prayer.

Executive Director Dr. Eddie Moody was recently featured on The Church Answers Podcast with Dr. Thom Rainer and Jess Rainer, introducing Free Will Baptists to the Church Answers audience and discussing the difference our denomination is making across the country and around the world.

News from Departments

Registration is Open for Shine!

Registration for the Shine! Simulcast Conference is open. The conference will be hosted at The Donelson Fellowship in Nashville and simulcast to numerous other locations across the U.S. Register by January 3 to receive a free t-shirt. Register here.

Executive Director Ruth McDonald recently joined the Better Together Podcast to preview the conference, speakers, and the opportunities for girls ages 12-18. Watch the interview.

IM Remembers Coscia, Pinkerton

Florine Coscia, former missionary to Brazil, passed away October 19 after several years of declining health. She and her husband, Louis, served the people of Brazil for 28 years.

Jerry Pinkerton, former missionary to Ivory Coast, passed away October 20 after a time of illness. His wife, Carol, who served alongside him faithfully, said, “Jerry’s long-awaited dream is now a reality. He has been called home to Heaven.”

The legacies of these two faithful servants of the Lord will be left on the many lives around the world touched by their ministries.

Support Students on Giving Tuesday

Did you know that 100% of Welch College students received some type of financial aid last year?

Giving Tuesday is December 3. Visit welch.edu/giving-tuesday to give toward the goal of $145,000 for students cholarships and help make a different in the life of a Welch student.

In the latest issue of ONE Magazine, NAM CEO Dr. David Crowe wrote an article entitled, Where Do We Go From Here?, reminiscing on the history of Home Missions (now North American Ministries) and a vision for its future.
