Clemson welcomed eight new National Scholars and four Breakthrough Scholars into the premier scholarship programs this fall, with areas of focus ranging from philosophy and marketing to genetics, biochemistry and engineering.

University chemist Chris Chouinard received a five-year National Science Foundation CAREER grant to develop new methods to distinguish closely related illicit drugs.

Registration is now open for High Performance Computing (HPC) Day on Friday, September 18. The all-day showcase of high-performance computing in research and education is open to all faculty, staff and students. Submissions for the HPC Day research poster session are due Friday, September 4.
