On Wednesday, February 22nd, at 4:00 p.m., the NYU Department of Campus Safety received an NYPD report of a fondling that occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, February 19th, on West 3rd Street, between Sullivan Street and MacDougal Street, in Manhattan.
The victim, a non-NYU affiliate, reported that while they were walking on West 3rd Street, towards MacDougal Street, the suspect came up from behind them and smacked them on the buttocks. The suspect fled west on West 3rd Street. No injuries were reported.
Description of Suspect: The suspect is described as male-presenting, with a light complexion, light brown or blonde hair, wearing a gray hoodie, black sweatpants and white Adidas sneakers.
