Friend,
Summer is here! Your students have worked hard, grown in meaningful ways, and accomplished so much — and we know none of that happens without the strong support systems behind them. Whether your student is heading home, working, traveling, or preparing for the next chapter, we wish them a safe, healthy, and rewarding summer break.
Another special congratulations to the Class of 2026 and their families. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see the impact they will make in the world. And to the families of the Class of 2027 — your students are next! We look forward to welcoming them back for an exciting senior year filled with new opportunities, lasting memories, and preparations for graduation ahead.

| Parents Creating Meaningful Community Connections
|
On April 25, current parents Swathi Swaminathan and Chandramouli Krishnamurthy P'29 hosted a volunteer-driven Haverford gathering in Singapore, bringing together the Haverford community for an evening of conversation and connection.
This event welcomed 28 attendees, including current parents and families, incoming students and their families, prospective students and their families, past parents, and alumni. There was incredible energy in the room, with excitement surrounding Haverford’s growing presence in Singapore and strong interest in building new connections across the community.
Gatherings like these help us to foster a sense of belonging and shared identity, especially for community members living far from campus or around the globe.
Thank you to our hosts for organizing this successful event. If you are interested in hosting a similar event in your area, express your interest here.

Summer at Haverford and Beyond
|
|
|
Last summer, Fords completed over 320 College-funded summer experiences as part of the College’s strategic priority, Summer Experiences for All, ensuring every student has at least one paid summer internship, language study opportunity, fellowship, or research position. These experiences took place everywhere, from labs right here at Haverford to locations across the country, and around the globe in Italy, Nepal, and China. We expect the same level of opportunity and engagement this year, and we can’t wait to see the impact our students will make in their communities and beyond.
This summer also includes expanded support and funding for the Entrepreneurship Program and the Innovation Incubator, which engages students in entrepreneurship as they collaborate across disciplines to develop ideas, build projects, and bring innovative work to life. Last summer included a wide range of projects, including the development of the app Traverse, by Jory Lee '26 and Hudson Rha, which aims to preserve travel memories long after the trip is over.

Congratulations to all our students on completing another year at Haverford, and to the Class of 2026 on their recent graduation!
|
Our team is already making plans for next year to ensure our students continue to have access to the opportunities that make their experience here so special, including Move-In Day festivities from Student Life, career counseling and experiential learning opportunities from the CCPA, and more. Your gift before June 30, the end of our fiscal year, helps us ensure we have the resources to continue to offer an incredible Haverford education for our students.
