I have yet to put up the tree, figure out what to do about Christmas cards—do we go the picture route or write something other than just our signature? . . . Haven’t built up the courage to see what’s in the Christmas decorations boxes . . . Otherwise, things are starting to feel like the holidays are upon us, with chilly weather and maybe some rain added in.
I know we’ve thanked all of you who volunteered your time to be a docent or a house hostess for our holiday tour and marketplace, but seriously, we really can’t say it enough. This year, we raised $71,500 for the Ojai Music Festival and its BRAVO Education and Community Programs. Without your help, our tour just couldn’t happen. Thank you for all that you do, as a member of the Women’s Committee!
On that note, I want to remind you of our annual Gratitude Soup Supper that we have planned for January 12th, starting at 4:30pm, at the Ojai Valley Woman’s Club. We (the Board) serve a variety of soups, cornbread, and delicious desserts. We do it to thank you and our very generous homeowners who give up more than just a weekend for us to show off their beautiful and distinctly different homes. Put it on your calendar right now!
