Dear Friend,

We are looking forward to being together virtually on June 1st from 10:00AM (CDT) until 12:00 PM (CDT). Please adjust accordingly for your time zone.  Below is information that will help you prepare for our time together. We know for some of you, there may be obstacles to overcome (childcare, finding a quiet place, work commitments) and we do not want this to feel like a burden. Our desire is that this time would be an encouraging way to be together even while we are apart and we thought it was better to try than not to try. Let's pray that God will help us find a way.

Please respond to this email by Thursday, May 28th, to confirm that you will be in attendance for this zoom call. This will allow us to assign you to a break out room for group spirtual direction. If you need a short tutorial on how to use zoom, please let us know in your RSVP.

Preparations 

  1. Please take some time to read through the Group Spiritual Direction handout below in order to gather your thoughts for this time together.
  2. Also, if you are able, we encourage you to have a candle and match/lighter nearby to use during our prayer time and during group spiritual direction.  
  3. If you haven’t used Zoom much, get on the call early to get set up. Plan to use your computer’s camera, mic and speaker and click on the link to test those elements. You can also click on the link and if your sound does not work, use the most appropriate phone number to hear and speak on the call. If your computer does not have a camera, join us via the appropriate phone number.
