The Puente Program held their annual Noche de Familia on September 10 featuring local poet and author Donato Martinez. Donato shared inspiring words of encouragement and read from his book, “Touch the Sky.” The event, which included nearly 100 guests, is an opportunity for families, friends, and supporters of the Puentistas to learn more about the program and how best to support their student. The Irvine Valley women's soccer team scored another shutout - its fourth in a row on Friday at home. The Lasers defeated Victor Valley, 8-0. The eight goals scored by Irvine Valley is the most since the Lasers shut out San Diego City, 8-0, at home on Aug. 30, 2018. Read More »

Poorya “Pooris” Baine is firmly focused on taking a lifelong passion and transforming it into his life’s work. But his hasn’t been a straightforward or easy path. He grew up in Northern Iran, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and eventually ran his own video game company – testing and selling games and related accessories while capitalizing on his love for game development and design.
