ICANotes Updates for January 22, 2021

Practice Management Updates

Prepayments

We have made a change so that when a prepayment is applied to a service and later deleted, the amount paid will now return to the original prepayment total. The removal of a prepayment from a service will also be visible in the prepayment description.

New Chart Room

We are currently testing a new Chart Room layout which will feature a left navigation sidebar. Users are able to toggle between the 'New' and 'Classic' layouts as desired. To have this feature enabled, please have a security administrator email ticket@icanotes.com

Authorization to Bill Insurance Logo

A logo can now be added to the Authorization to Bill Insurance custom form. If you have a logo uploaded for your group, you can choose to Include Logo and it will load onto the authorization form for you.

ANSI Options

A new ANSI Option has been added to Exclude Group Number in Subscriber Loop. When selected, this option will exclude the group number on both the HCFA and ANSI files.

Group Rules

A new group rule, Do Not Require Group Number for Provider Payer Rules, has been added. This can be enabled in the Security Center Group Rule's section on the Defaults tab.

This group rules allows clinicians to set provider payer rules without requiring an Insurance Group Number.

Clinical Updates

New Therapist Note

For practices with the New Therapist Note enabled, you can now select the Classic note style as your default. This option is available in Settings & Directories on the 'Options' tab.

Additionally, we have made some grammatical changes to some of the shrubs in the New Therapist Note.
