Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Fall 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium provides you with a platform to share your research achievements and scholarly and creative projects! Looking Closely: A Nature Walk on Century Avenue

What nature is around us on Century Avenue? Have you ever stopped to look closely at the garden around the Academic Building? Join this guided nature walk to slow down and learn about our surrounding environment. This tour will be led by the students from Fudan University who are actively engaged in nature education and research.

Ecology and New Villagers in Rural Shanghai

An immersive learning day trip in collaboration with NYU Shanghai Reads.

Want to experience a rural oasis within the city limits of Shanghai? Join us for a day trip to Cenbu Village in Qingpu District! We will go on a guided ecology tour and end with kayaking along the village canals and wetlands to a “Little Amazon.”

Note: Participants are recommended to read Chapter 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 of The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, this year’s NYU Shanghai Reads book.
