New Term, Big News: PSU Goes Gold🏅 |
Spring term is here, and we’re so excited to welcome you back to campus 🌸
We’ve got some exciting news to share. Portland State University has officially been recognized as a Gold-Level Military Friendly® School! This is a big deal because it means PSU ranked among the top institutions in the country for how well it supports student veterans and military-connected students.
This designation isn’t just a title. It is based on things that actually impact our community, like access to VA benefits support, dedicated resources like the VRC, retention and graduation rates for veteran students, and how well the university creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for the military-affiliated community.
| It confirms what we already know. PSU is putting in the work to make sure you’re supported every step of the way.
The beginning of a new term can be just as overwhelming as it is exciting. Don’t forget to certify your courses to ensure your VA benefits are processed on time! If you need any support as you get settled this term, the VRC is here for you.
Whether you’re returning or just getting started, we’re so glad you’re part of this community. Here’s to a strong spring term and to being at a university that truly has your back 💚
