Hello ladies!

I am Pam Harris, Tallowood’s new Women’s Ministry Associate.  It is a blessing to have this opportunity to serve with all of you, and I can’t wait to get to know you more.  New friends are one of my favorite things!

I am a wife and mother of two (son 18, daughter 24). Born and raised in Louisiana, I am a southern girl who loves thrift store shopping and anything vintage or antique!    I enjoy reading, spending time with my super adventurous family and meandering through Marshall/Homegoods on a regular basis.

My past experiences as Women’s Ministry Director have been at North Pointe Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma and First Baptist Church, Durango, Colorado.  Teaching scripture and serving women are two things near and dear to my heart!

This past Sunday, Dr. Brooks said, “There are things we have to do, and things we get to do.”  It is truly a blessing for me to get to serve with each and every one of you!  I am excited to see what God has for all of us here at Tallowood and beyond.

Women’s Ministry Associate

“FaithFull” – Studying from Hebrews 11

Hebrews 11 is often called the "Faith Hall of Fame". The chapter lists person after person those who were still living by faith when they died even though they did not receive the things promised during their lifetimes. So how do we remain full of faith in our own lifetimes? How do we make sense of knowing God's promises and yet not seeing them fulfilled? How can we add our names to the list of God's faithful?  This 10 week study will explore how we can be faith FULL people (women). We will study the stories of the heroes of the faith before us and how their lives offer encouragement to our own.
